  1. So it has already been stated that the TMNT 1 book sold for 250k. How much did the KLH series of 6 books sell for?
  2. It makes it harder to explain when you need two someones of a like mind to get these results.
  3. Here is the Tac-Scan published ad. One down two to go.
  4. The last one is double page ad for the Atari 2600 game Tac-Scan by Sega.
  5. I collect videogame artwork and was presented with these 3 pieces. We believe them to be Atari related comic book ads from the 1980s. One game is clearly for the unreleased Atari 2600 CBS Wings game but I've never seen any of these ads. Anyone recognize any of these ad images?
  6. So it was for sale at 27k before and after and during the clink auction? Wow. Could the shill bidding be any more obvious?
  7. Ha! They are shipping as quick as possible before consigners ask to void the results. Sorry it has been paid for and shipped already,
  8. They relisted it and it sold the second time for $3800. I don't follow Walking Dead art. Is this still considered a super low price?
  9. If Marvel were to commission fine artists to illustrate every cover of a given month any way they see fit would those pieces be accepted into the world of fine art or shunned by the comic collectors of the world?
  10. For the book release party in Chicago I brought 9 originals. If you can make it to the Ohio CCAG game show on July 22nd I plan to bring 20+ original Atari pieces. Glad you enjoyed it. Wish you lived closer but I can show you a few things when you finally stop by for the Steelers game this year.
  11. Short video from the release party in Chicago. It was a 6 hour trip each way but lots of fun. The Logan arcade is one of the best barcades I've ever been to. If you are close to Chicago and enjoy games and/or beer I would suggest checking it out.
  12. Does anyone know who owns the Iron Man ARMOR WARS covers? I'm the sucker who overpaid for the Iron Man 225 splash in this past Comic Link auction. Looking to BUY !
  13. My overpriced Armor Wars 1 splash page arrived today. Love it ! http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1403557
  14. True but some pedigree items retain some of that increased value Mile High etc. This isn't true for comic art is it? Does anyone really care where the art has been ?
  15. I'm tapped out and couldn't play along but I really enjoyed seeing the golden age artwork in this auction. Does anyone have some results of the golden age pieces?
  16. I have no issue with snipping. Just glad that I'm not one of the winners who had it yanked away because the system Comiclink has in place failed them. I don't gamble. Anyone know what happens in blackjack when the dealer screws up the cards? Does the house pay out or just redeal?
  17. Plus this was early on in the auction. If a bidder wins early he might not think he will have the funds for other items that he may have wanted.
  18. More than I would have thought as well but perhaps as a McSpidey double splash page it checks off the box on someone's want list?
  19. Wait what!,! No one would pay that would they? I thought autograph collecting went out with animation cels in the 90s.
  20. Not sure I see the real issue here. Other than the buyer paying more than he has to. If I understand this correctly this guy finds the buyer, gets the buyer to pay first and then buys the art from the owner. If the owner doesn't have it or raises the price I'm guessing he just cancels the order. He might even have the seller ship direct to the new owner. Many online sellers do this with other products. Drop shippers.
  21. I like it. I like it. We should throw in a love affair with Bruce Wayne for extra measure. Tricking them both to meet her in a trap. Joker dies. Batman barely survives. She leaves them both for dead and exits as the new joker.
  22. Can't imagine I'd ever buy a digital book but for people who buy digital books that sounds like a good deal. Thanks for the heads up.
