  1. You don't need to pay for notes on books you submit, do you? For the notes I see on the books I sub (all GA), I wouldn't buy them nor pay for any others as they are so minimal and uninformative.
  2. Starting with the 20 above the run of covers with the American Crusader (first appearance in the #20) are so cool, imo. 21-25 - somehow I tripled up on 25 and doubled on 26
  3. More thrills with Thrillings - I thought I had figured out how to take better pics but I am a woefully inept photographer. 16 thru 20 - And what's Action #13 got on the Thrilling 16 - both awesome train covers and the Thrilling even has a damsel in distress and a bunch of thugs. I guess Supes rates over Doc Strange
  4. Now that would be worth it. I would eve plant bamboo for them to eat. Not sure but I think I would be the only one in my neighborhood with a panda, I wonder if anyone would carp if I took him for walks at the dog park
  5. I don't remember specifically if had this issue but he still has quite a few uber graders listed on his website, maybe he can tell us @MrBedrock. Hope it is okay to post a link to those books - absolutely stunning books. http://www.bedrockcity.com/store/filtered/k_batman/ct9_Certified/
  6. I don't collect DCs but I would like to have a copy of this book. I wouldn't want an incomplete copy though especially at that price.
  7. Thanks Tim. I am paranoid and feel bad for taking up thread real estate with my collection. I appreciate the kind words and for the heads up on the book you told me about. Here are scans of my Mystery Comics run.
  8. #6s thru 10 #7 is just an awesome cover and I really thought it might be one I could not find. And the pirate ship cover of #8 is pretty cool. And again, some these early issues are underrated GGA bondage covers like #9 (imo, of course).
  9. You know when I started this hair-brained venture, these books were not as sought after and referred to at least by as the poor person's Timelys. But after amassing the books, I think they stand on par with many of the Timely books given the war covers and Schomburg using similar cover themes and just his art in general. There are some great stories and splashes inside to boot.
  10. Wow. I had no idea. I was absent for a couple of years recovering from my own health issues and just recently begun to resume some level of normalcy. Getting old is punishment is enough and add severe health woes on top of that and it really sucks.
  11. There was someone looking for USQ 5. He started this thread. He may have just been interested in the double cover he bid on but if you want to PM him it is @streyouttacomics.
  12. So if you live in one of these states which I do, I should contact CL before paying with a card so the 3% will be waived? I always send a check because I don't mind waiting a bit longer and I think it bad business to pass this particular cost of doing business on to the customer.
