Best way to pop open a slab?

There's a video of the process on Youtube (featuring Chromium )

That theme music reminds me of Charlie's Angels. :cloud9:

It is simple. Just check and see which side of the slab you can pry open with your fingers. Gently but firmly pull it apart. It should pop pretty easily. The interior sleeve is a little trickier. You can use scissors or gently pull the top apart and work your way down.

Too extreme :baiting:

Just grab the edge of the slab, one quick downward stroke on cement and you crack the shell. Remove the comic sleeve, cut the top edge , and remove comic.

All this nonsense about proper procedure :screwy:

This is not surgery :makepoint:

grab both sides of the seam on the side and yank, it will pop right open with the book remaining secure on one side. Then take some scissors and cut carefully along the top of the bag and it's out.

Love the end of the youtube video, "Keep the CGC label" yea right. Im sure he'll keep that 4.0 label

You're supposed to send the label back to GCG so they can remove the book from their database.
