Ha! After all that time with none of this issue being 9.8, suddenly, within two or three months, a few (3 or 4?) 9.8s appear. The impossible issue is not longer impossible. But then here she comes, with the first and only 9.8 SS, and the day before her birthday, no less. Congratulations and happy birthday! Enjoy this, no matter what happens now, you did this first and it's yours. Bravo.

Yes you da man... thanks for the 7.0, now I have to decide if I want to:

 

a) sell the better centered under copy

b) sell the higher grade but off centered top census copy or

c) HOARD!

 

ps the 8.0 was from Dr. Balls, raw. It was sold as an VF (8.0) so spot on centering by the Dr.

A big whoop-de-doo to Carlos (gothamcentral) for getting this little grail signed and graded for me. He was a little reluctant when, at the last minute, I asked him to take it with him to Baltimore last September for Bolland to sign, but I twisted his arm.

 

The only SS on the census for this classic cover, and a 9.8 to boot. Bought this out of Earl Shaw's Comics bins at Heroes last summer. I was only there for the Sunday and his bins were heavily picked over. Bought a buncha SA and BA books but I was just as happy to find this one from 1993.
