Just started with the pulps. Here's my first 2. Weird Tales posted in that Forum as well. Big Conan and BGA/Horror junkie, so the transition seemed inevitable.

Condition wise, not usually my thing, but the covers were so cool, plus they were cheap. I couldn't say no.

Patience paid off and I finally acquired a copy of Heinlein's 1st story in that wonderful, Finlay covered August 1939 Astounding

A great book, even if Finlay was so irked at how they cropped the cover he never worked for Street & Smith again

Many of the cover girls during that era of the pulp series are stunners, including this one!

Correct, although it's in pretty common use in discussing him as well, since his last name is actually more common as a first name.

Just got a couple in... the first is an awesome cover, that condition-wise is below my standards, but it's colorful and complete with supple pages. The interiors are awesome too. Need to upgrade... I wonder if anybody would rush to sell me a nice copy of this one?  Doubt it.
