Just heard Frank Robinson passed away. RIP. :(

Sorry to hear that - he led quite an interesting life.

I'm guessing that he sold off his remarkable collection due to worsening health issues the past few years?

I knew Frank quite well. I was at his house in San Francisco a few times and was able to participate in his pulp collection "show & tell". 10,000 hi grade pulps and related items....stunning!!

Frank was 88 years old, and I was told that he was doing OK (health wise) until the past few weeks when he contracted pneumonia.

Frank was also the author of the book that the movie "The Towering Inferno" was based on, among other books and screenplays that he wrote.

He was a great person, a wealth of knowledge, and a very passionate collector!!!!

Here's one I have been after for a while. This is only the second one I have ever seen for sale... the first one had a faded spine and creases and sold for $500 several years ago.

This copy , while creased, has beautiful off white pages, and complete spine, no trimming or tape, and great cover colours featuring Norman Saunders artwork! This is one of my few "must have" pulps.

Anyone else have a copy of this issue? Or any other of the tough MYSTERY ADVENTURE issues?

I have a few Mystery Adventures.

These are the two issues I have scanned.
