here's Ray Bradbury's first published pro work in Super Science 11/41.

Nice one. I've only got a couple of the 1st run of Super Science, but that one is pretty high on my want list. I'm not sure I've ever even seen one for sale.

One of these days I should finish off the 2nd run of Super Science, I think I'm only missing 3 issues from that end.

Some new books I've picked up the past few months.

When it rains it pours. I was looking for a nice copy of this Sep 1927 issue of Amazing Stories for years and then found two nice ones in as many months. Contains Lovecraft's "The Colour Out of Space".

Swell stuff & those last 2 Science Wonders have spectacular colors. 'The Color Out of Space' is such a great yarn it spawned this homage in your quaduplicated Aug 1934 Weird Tales...

Oh, cool. I've read the Conan story and Mary Elizabeth Counselman's "The Three Marked Pennies" from that issue but haven't read that one yet.

And some really nice copies of Science Wonder Stories that I'm super excited about. The colors on these are stunning.

Those are some of the best condition early pulps that I've ever seen! :o

A quick question for the pulp experts out there: What pulps have covers illustrating Lovecraft stories? Is it just the Feb and June Astoundings, or are there others? As far as I know, for some reason he never got the cover art on Weird Tales.
