Popular Post Danger Haggis
Fairly new to the forum & was just pointed here (I posted to an incorrect spot). This thread looks great - I love the Marvel Team-Ups, especially. Used to always love reading Torch vs Iceman. Submitted these at a Comic Con in November & I just got them back today. Popular Post Mgc015
And I know CCS’ pressing services don't get a lot of credit around here, but here’s the result from my USM 1. I’m not a big collector like a lot of you and when I’ve submitted books, they are my books that I bought off the shelf. So this book, I must have read about 20 times and I obviously drew a line on something that was on this book causing an indentation. I knew I wouldn’t get a 9.8, but I submitted it because it’s my own book. You can see how they really reduced the indentation to the point where you cant see it from straight ahead anymore. You have to hold it up to the light. So I’m thrilled to get a 9.6 on this one. And I can’t believe my Web of Spiderman got a 9.8 after sitting in a shoe box under my bed for the first 10 years before it even saw a Mylar bag and another 20 years before it met a backing board. And it was also read many many times. AbsoluteCarnage, Benjamin1977, Brandon Shepherd and 2 others

Danger Haggis
@Mgc015 Nice books! I've got all the same Spideys I still need to submit, and have been looking for a decent price on the 1st Echo. I also second the pressing service. I had a Sig Series book I had pressed - I would have hoped for an 8 or 8.5 before pressing (spine roll), and it came back as a 9.8. Popular Post FigaroToe
Had a 9.8 pre-screen and pretty much all the rejects were the big books I submitted lol, oh well. I still got some good grades on a few others: Tec-Tac-Toe, grendelbo, ADAMANTIUM and 6 others
Tec-Tac-Toe
A selection of not back this week, but back. I primarily submit because I like the covers and wish to add them to my collection. The scans were provided by CGC; the three lines and blemishes visible on the magazine and/or case are present only on the scan. Popular Post FigaroToe
I had a few books that I knew wouldn't get 9.8 so I submitted them w/o a pre-screen, pretty happy with the results: Tom789, AbsoluteCarnage, ADAMANTIUM and 2 others
Popular Post ADAMANTIUM
I never submit a prescreen, as I know without "a press" that most of the time "it is what it is", and I'm not paying to have it rejected. If I want it graded I send it Just personal experience, but I don't slab to sell most of the time. ANYWAY that said, I did surprisingly better than I thought I would greggy, ChrispyC66, badback83 and 6 others 8
Popular Post Stefan_W
Tried doing a high value submission of my own for the first time - in the past I always sent those types of books in through a presser. I did the pressing on all of these myself. Could not be happier with the results (the WWBN 32 would have scored into the 9s without that tear). Two out of the three books ended up being bumped into the high value tier, which was music to my ears.
