Bought all these on eBay auctions earlier this year and submitted at ECCC. New Gods #1 and Showcase #56 from DC, Iron Man #5 from Marvel. Shark Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 Hey guys! New member here. I'm just starting to look at higher grade comics and had a quick question. I found a book I wanted and it's graded by cgc but it has a bit of writing on the cover in pencil. I was wondering if I should be concerned with that or not? If I decide one day down the road to sell it will the writing on it make it more difficult to sell even though it was graded with that in mind? I figured you guys would know better than me. Thanks ahead of time for any responses. It reaaly depends on the buyer. Some collectors are anal as hell about no writing, no store stamps, etcetera. Other buyers could care less about stuff like that and think it adds something to the book. As you already stated, CGC took that into consideration when grading it.
