Sooo...it feels like it's taking forever and a day for the next WD issue...it's driving me mad!

 

I miss the days when I never read the WD and had the TPB 1-11 to read in a row..wait that was only 2 months ago. I do not know how much more I can handle waiting for an issue a month to come out :frustrated:

Just checked GPA on Walking Dead #1 CGC 9.8 and 9.6 prices.... :o

 

 

WD#1 CGC 9.8 is now a $650-700 book ?!?! :o

 

WD#1 CGC 9.6 is now a $325-350 book ?!?!? :o

 

 

Not sure how sustainable those prices are, but with the low print run (7,000 I think) the book has and the AMC series in the works it'll be interesting to watch

 

I wonder if we will begin to see a differential between the white "Mature Readers" book and the black "Mature Readers" book. Apparently the white variant is rarer...

It's been debated back and forth. Apparently Kirkman states the white is more rare and if you look at Ebay sales you get the impression the black is more rare. Perception is reality so which is more rare is completely dependent on who you talk to.

 

And when you're talking about a 7,400 print run and a 2:1 ratio is any one colour significantly more rare than the other? (shrug)

 

A completist needs both and anyone who has a #1 has a rare comic.

 

Doesn't matter if it's black or white ;)
