I'm reading through the compendium and finding a lot of similarities between WD and Deadworld. I'm not saying WD is flat out stealing, but just that I sometimes feel a bit of deja vu while reading. Makes me wonder if Deadworld would have been a huge hit had the talent stayed on board.

i'm talking about the #50 variant steve, i have kirkman and larsen (with a zom sketch) on the varaint ("only" a 9.6 but still cool).

 

i have 2 sketched by moore, 1 remarked by kirkman and adlard and 2 sketches from rathburn along with the larsen sketch.

 

i can't wait to get my better copies of 1 and 2...

What's with the guys who post negative things about TWD in this thread? Seems to me this is a fan thread versus a "come tell us why you aren't on the bandwagon." If you don't like the book that's fine but why bother telling the rest of us who do?

I expressed dislike with the book a while back. mostly, I was just frustrated. I liked it so much in the past, I hated feeling like the creators were just going through the motions. LAst issue was better imo. more focused.
