Sqeggs
Sold to me as an 8.0, but I thought it was more like a 6.5. We were both wrong! Second highest behind a 7.0.
Sqeggs
One of only five copies on the census (along with a 5.0 and 3 3.5s). So, a census low! Still, I thought it might look decent in a slab, which I think it does.
Tri-Color Brian
1.5? What? Is it missing the back cover or something?
Sqeggs
1.5? What? Is it missing the back cover or something? The Graders' Notes say: "We ain't certifying anything above a 1.8 until Brian finds another copy." I'm not sure what to make of that.
Tri-Color Brian
Well, guess there will be a lot more 1.5s...
Sqeggs
Actually, it may have been the back cover that nailed it.
comicnoir
Mine would grade the highest I'm sure, if I bothered to submit.

RICK STARR
Mine would grade the highest I'm sure, if I bothered to submit. What a sweet copy. This is the best one I have found since collecting Baker romance.

OtherEric
Sadly, I've only got one Baker Romance book. On the plus side, it's all Baker:

I might have paid a lot...at the time. The HA archives show two D copies being sold a couple of weeks apart. Clearly different books. Do you remember what that was about? Edited: Actually, I can now find just the one copy. I was probably thinking of a different book. Edited November 21, 2015 by Sqeggs

MrBedrock
I'm enjoying seeing all of these cool Baker books. One area where I have almost nothing. And now they are getting so pricey.

Yes, and I have one of those WR 17's. That's when ppl were starting to see Baker Romances they'd never seen before, thanks to Davis Crippen. And the bids started to climb.
