I wound up with a decent interior with a somewhat beat up cover, which I'm keeping, a decent interior with a very beat up cover with heavy tape on the spine and elsewhere, and a copy missing the back cover and a chunk about 3x2 inches from the bottom of pg 5-6. It was that missing corner that lead me to buy the two .5's from Lone Star, because it's one of the pages that was dropped starting with the first reprint. But, as is often the case with Lone Star, the books were in far better condition than I would expect... they outright screwed up on one, the person who did the page count didn't realize it was one of those weird 56 page issues and flagged it incomplete. When I bought the book I had no idea it had any significance; I just liked the cover. Just pure dumb luck haha.. I really love this book but I just payed big money for my own personal grail which is a Mexican x-men 1 from 1966 (I’ll include picture) so I figured it’s time to pass this book on to someone who will cherish it.
