JohnT
Just in from Clink. Classic Anderson cover, and great Anderson art inside. Also Infantino and a great story by Sid Greene.
zzutak
Very pretty, John. One of the best late 10-cent era covers. Nice snag!
adamstrange
Very pretty, John. One of the best late 10-cent era covers. Nice snag! The finely detailed overhead landscape views play right into Anderson's strengths as an artist. That's definitely one of my favorite covers of his! The man is the KING of sci-fi covers. Here are some of my favorites: I love the details on this one. Super-rare to find in nice shape. It took me quite a while to land this book. One of the best wash-tone covers, IMO.
JohnT
This one has always been a favorite of mine. I love Anderson's use of landscapes. The tiny details in the setting highlight how giant the aliens are. Still looking for a nice copy.

telerites
I have been slowly putting together a mid-grade run of Captain Comet covers. Even managed to pick up the Mile High copy of #41. Still a long way to go but here's what I have so far...
telerites
And not a Capt. Comet cover but this was a book I bought back in the 70s that I had slabbed a while back.

JohnT
Wow, talk about some hard-to-find treasures! Captain Comet is one of the most underappreciated characters in comics, imo. Not that there aren't folks out there looking for those issues--there certainly are--but he's such a great character with one of the classic sci-fi artists of all time. I've only got five of them so far:

AtlasFan
Here's a great cover & story by Gil Kane. Not only does Captain Comet (kinda) make a cameo on the cover, but I would say that the Martian here could be considered a prototype of my favorite Green Lantern, Tomar-Re!
