So I'm out at a casino tonight....

just off the strip with my friend Bella and we are gambling and drinking Absolut Vanilla Vodka on the rocks and before I know it I won $10,000! I was unaware of it at first until Bella started jumping up and down. Maybe I didn't realize it because I had been drinking for a bit. lol Anyway I had all of the chips stacked in front of me and it finally hit me. I swear I about passed out!

 

Before I kept gambling and "invested" it all back into the casino I cashed out, paid my taxes up front on the winnings and had a little more than $5,000 in my pocket. I took the people at the table with me out for dinner and drinks and then Bella and I drank a bit more.

 

I still have quite a bit left. I dropped Bella off at home so she could change and freshen up and we are going to go out again in a bit and spend some more. I put a few thousand aside for savings and am going to go out and try to blow through about $1,500 tonight. I put $500 aside to go to the UFC fight tomorrow night too.

 

I know that this is off topic, but my family is asleep in the Midwest and I just had to share this with someone. Perhaps I will have some pictures to post tomorrow night of our night out.

 

I have never won this much money before and probably never will again. But damn it was nice to win big and have a friend with me. :acclaim::banana:

Yeah it's quite hefty, give or take a few percent. I couldn't really count it because I was a bit inebriated. In fact I still am. I think maybe I should call a taxi to take me out tonight. I'm not leaving until 3 AM anyway.I asked to have more than normal withheld because I screwed up my tax deductions earlier this year. So maybe it'll all even out. If not then that's fine too.

I was thinking the same thing --- I think roulette gives you the best chance to win while you're a little sloshed lol

 

Congrats on the win! Made me think of that Simpsons episode where Homer and Flanders wake up hungover and married to the cocktail waitresses.
