Batman 1 on ebay for real?

So, what do you all think? Think it's a fake or the real deal? I would think if it was for real it would be going to an auction house not ebay.

Find a member who is close to the sellers location. And ask to see it in person. But I agree with the devilman..

I have no plans to bid on it. I was just curious how you'd tell a fake. I know all the signs are there in the language but what about the pictures. Can you tell it's a fake by the pictures alone?

It is good that this stuff is spotted. I have seen a few people on ebay too claiming they have first mint copies of Batman 1s and so forth.... People like that should be arrested for fraud.

that is a price sticker residue on the bag....the comic is the same in both pictures, but clearly the FFE reprint...

He sent me a reply back to my message to him. Are you sure this is a reprint? It says 1940 in the book..... Ohhhhhhhh... Don't think it's a scam. The guy just doesn't know comic books...

He is trying to pull a scam it would seem. I told him to go and Google a real picture of Batman #1. I even told him of this thread.. If he insists this book is the real deal. He is nothing but a scam artist.. We all know it is the Famous First Edition reprint. I will post his response to me here. It should be interesting to see what he has to say.
