sartre Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 I bought this at Sotheby's as mint in the early 90's... some slight tanning inside cover I guess gets deemed 8.5 by CGC... although the cover gloss was like no other Spidy #1 I have ever seen... Thanks, wow, I do have the highest graded copy in the Club, didn't notice that. The CGC census only has 12 copies higher so I am very happy about this book. Below is a BC scan. This book is new to the market, first time slabbed, in it's natural state. It was in someone's personal collection since the mid 90's. I acquired this book in a private transaction. It is not often you get the chance to get a book like this outside of an expensive auction. I had to go for it.
