Very sad. Very talented singer but never reached her potential due to political backballing. Some friends and I went to see her perform in Atlanta at a small theatre about 10-15 years ago. Probably was not 12 people in the theatre. We sat on the front row and she was very cordial to us.

Awww spoon. She had the cat purr-growl down pat too. Not just while purring but while just speaking. Eartha Kitt was my favorite Batman TV villain. She just knew how to deliver.
