I've never done a pressing, and don't completely understand it if I'm being honest, but certainly this book could use it. In the listing description the seller mentioned it could use a press. One would think that a person who knows about pressing would also know not to flatten a book out in a scanner. Especially a 10k+ book.
Turtle
With a recent ebay purchase, I may have completed a set I've been casually working on for some time now. I collect TMNT #1 cover homages and if you've looked up TMNT stuff on ebay, you're probably at least somewhat familiar with Do You Pooh? They basically take Winnie the Pooh characters and put them into homages of classic comic covers. These TMNT ones don't come up for sale terribly often, mostly because the print runs are minuscule. Luckily, not too many people are out there looking for these either. Standard Edition 4/25 Sketch Edition 3/10 Red Sketch Edition 4/10 Chromium Edition AP 4 (for the purposes of keeping my sanity, I'm not making a distinction between Artists Proofs (AP) and regular numbered copies. They are all the same to me and NOT different variants) Magazine Edition 23/25 Am I missing any? tvindy, Icculus308win and Hulksdaddy1 2
Parabellum
On 4/9/2021 at 7:01 AM, Icculus308win said: I don’t know either my man. (I bought a 9.6 about a year before that for $460 rings a bell....but no help nowadays. I would put them somewhere around the range of the #3 NYCC variant value. Not a mainstream book for the casual collector but a “must have” for a TMNT fan. Edited April 12, 2021 by Parabellum

LOL. I'm stuck now at 56 of 62 issues of Vol. 1 in 9.8. 😎🐢❤ @Racerboy1 Congrats on the recent Heritage sale and thanks for helping me out with my collection as well! Ah yes thanks. It worked out well. I’m keeping my other gold copy. 😎 Gazoony and Icculus308win

BeardedBubba
Did you guys see this? $88,000 for a 9.6. Apparently signed on the inside cover. So I assume a 9.8 that got knocked to a 9.6 because of the signature? https://www.comicconnect.com/item/901543 Edited April 15, 2021 by BeardedBubba DPV
