The Devilina issue was published in 1975. The Vampirella cover 8 years later.

Doesn't explain which on is reversed? Is the signature backwards on the Vampirella or the other one?

Sorry... the signature looks ok on the Devilina cover - Pujolar followed by the year (74). The Vampirella cover is the reversed one.

A good guess was that the intended artwork either blew it's deadline, wasn't good enough or became unusable in some way so they punted.
