What a deal, Huh?!?

i prefer the characters on my pedigreed books to have legs.

Strange. I never noticed that. hm

Hey, they didn't have to look far for inspiration on that weird character. Just a couple of months before, across the hall, Goodman produced this! -

Got in from Comic-Con yesterday and I plan on posting a report on the show (if anyone cares to hear it) when I get a little time.

I will say that though it was incredibly hectic, this was the most fun San Diego in a number of years.

And even though I really didn't buy much for myself (two books), I came away very satisfied.

You see, on Sunday I was making the last minute rounds and happened upon Comic Heaven's table (for the third or fiftieth time).

John had a book that I REALLY wanted, but he had it priced a little high.

Well wouldn't you know....He had put the book I wanted in his dollar boxes......

Just curious but how to these big transactions go down on Cons? VISA or do you guys carry around a wad of cash? Seriously I always wondered about this in case I want to make a $10k+ purchase at a Con.

usually, the "BIG" transaction occur between well known individuals, and I suspect payment is made post con, or on time payments, etc...I walked by Harely's booth and he just handed me 2 books he got for me and said for me to pay him later, as I didn't have my check book on me (most prefer checks/cash to avoid the CC fees)..

if you are a non known buyer, cash or credit card would likely be ok....check if you know the dealer and have done business with them enough to establish reporte...

just my 2c

Ohio copy! It used to reside in the Bedrock collection. Great book Ken!

Now you have the Grail book for pointy head collectors
