Good haul dude!

Those Range Romance are hilarious. I guess that back in the days of the frontier, if you actually had a women brave enough to come out there, you better bind her and threaten her with a gun!

Ah, romance...

Some random pics before I start working on the video.

Our very first stop in Harrodsburg, KY early Thursday morning. Thats me in the

white T-shirt and brown shorts about to find the spinner rack. It was actually kinda

cool this early in the morning, but that did not last for long.

I couldn't figure out if that van had an arbor in pieces or some kinda sleigh scuplture

on the top of it. hm

HOw can you pass on a book titled "RANCH ROMANCE" with that cover?

You can't! !

I'll give you $0.50 for it right now and you can double your money :baiting:

Does bondage qualify as romance?

Great report Jim, nice rack.

Finding GoldKey :cloud9:

I found the Gold Key books at a booth that had nothing but Woody Woodpecker

items. Evidently a family member passed away who was a long time Woody

collector. They had vintage Woody toys, records, posters, promotional items as

well as comics. Here is a picture of yours truly looking at the cool stuff in that

booth. I spent a good 1/2 hour just looking at the awesome display.

The comics were a $1 a piece, I believe and while I don't actually collect these, I went through and pulled some of

the ones in higher grade.

I hate to ask but I must. What do you have under your left arm?

It's a gourd. Us folk who live in temperate areas often hollow them out to make birdhouses on the cheep (pun intended).

That's the second biggest gourd I've ever seen.

Some more advice since my comic store is on 127 and I live just off the hwy. I travel the route to work 20 miles each day. BE CAREFUL!!! WE locals dread the traffic and people stop with no warning on a four lane highway when they see somewhere they have to get to.

Its hot as out there as well and you can dehydrate quick.

Also, in the past, don't park on the roadway shoulders. The cops WILL give you a ticket.

Beau is correct. My wife collects bird houses and also makes them out of

gourds. She asked me to hold this one for her and then took great delight

in taking a picture of me carrying it.

Okay, here is a few minutes of random footage to give you an idea of what the

the sale was like. This was shot with my Flip camera. Next visit, I hope to bring

some hi-def cameras and make a short quirky film. :wishluck:

If it keeps stopping while the video is playing, press the pause key and allow it

to load more of the video into the buffer and then press the play button again after

a minute. :)
