Very cool, Chris! If there was a sketch acquisition, I'd love to see the new addition! :applause:

I think it's hard to try and trade CGC SS slabs for other slabs. I think when alot of us submit books, that they tend to mean more to us personally, and it's hard to get that special interest in 'said' book.

I do want to trade slabs, but who would have what I would want to trade for, and would be willing to accept what I have?

This thread should totally be more active

I agree. I don't understand why it isn't. (shrug)

I agree with Raph's assessment. I see plenty that I want, but a lot of time, I don't have things that the owner would want. Conversely, I may have something someone wants, but they have nothing that interests me. However, using this thread is nice to see what's available.

I agree too, but there's very little negotiations going back and fourth either. That's what I don't understand. I don't mind talking trades with people even when it doesn't work out. I know that I have talked trades with you several times Adam and at times it's worked out and other times it hasn't. There were never any hard feelings when we couldn't come to terms.

I just thought there would be more trade conversations going on, that's all.

That's just my 2c

Very true, Chris. In my mind, our trade discussions have always been a shining example of the way things should go down. :) On the plus side, I think sketches certainly have a good chance of being used in this thread. SS-wise, they have a wide appeal and sketch-for-sketch trading seams like it'd be a lot easier than sigs on books.

Your best bet is to keep your eye on the copper/modern marketplace about 2-4 weeks after SDCC. He typically shows up at the show every year and there are a few SS of him out there. I saw one up for sale last year...it went very quickly.

I've had very little luck with sketch trades in this thread, what the heck I'll keep trying.

Looking for a slabbed sketch in return of equal value.

This is a Dale Keown hand drawn piece.
