What are the toughest Silver/Bronze books in 9.8?

People looking but no luck:

Hero for Hire 1

WWBN 32

 

People not looking but tough

Warlock 1

Were creatures roam

Thanos Cap Marvels

multiple great drekkie bronze titles

 

books are tough becuase no one is looking (welcome back kotter 9 is a complete person_without_enough_empathy to find, only 1 copy has ever been to CGC! Look for 4 figures when a 9.8 comes out!) )

 

or tough becuase they dont exist desipe intense looking, some might say a full court press(WWBN 32 - this has to be in the top 5 of what ever list is beinig made here)

 

No 9.8 in ASW 10 until 2 months ago

Who's derailing? Check the census for Doom Patrol, mang. From issue 80 to 121, there are four - count 'em, four - 9.8s. I'd guess, since I didn't count them, that the number of 9.6s is around 30 or so.

 

 

That seems to fit the bill in the original post's question

 

Doom Patrols don't count since you are the only one on earth collecting them

Here's a slightly more popular run with several issues having no 9.8s:

 

Tomb of Dracula

 

3, 4, 26, 27, 36, 38, 41, 61.

 

Giant Size

3, 4

 

Of these, issue 36 only has 2 9.6s and 7 9.4s. It's, at least, the least submitted issue in the run. If anyone gets any of these in 9.8, please give them to me. :wishluck:

OK, since we are already derailing a bit

 

How about we start a list? Lets keep the numbers reasonable. No more than 2 9.8s to qualify. Preferabbly zero or 1 though.........

 

Human Torch #1 (1974)

 

seems a little broad. For TTA 59-75 all have 0 or 1 9.8

 

Adapt as needed....for example, what is the toughest book in that run

77 imo :

1 9.6

2 9.4

3 9.2

 

66 is rough too

 

2 9.6

1 9.4

6 9.2
