I would love a high grade copy of The Walking Dead # 1. But I haven't asked for it, I usually don't ask for anything for Christmas. I got into the habbit of being disappointed with Christmas and birthdays when I was a kid so I just really don't ask for anything anymore.

Nope. The only things I want for Hanukkah are these:

http://www.betseyjohnson.com/store/productdetails2.aspx?productid=7916&np=5001

http://www.betseyjohnson.com/Skull_Foiled_Stripe_Muffler/pd/np/5001/p/7925.html

I asked a new point a shoot camera since I don't like lugging around my Rebel.

My parents give me 500$ comic book spending cash to use towards comics and comics only haha. They're pretty cool. My girlfriend and I aren't doing gifts for each other this year to save money for a new pad. Not 100% sure which comic I want to buy myself this year. At the top of my list is a really good copy of Bone #1. Maybe a high grade Walking dead #1 so I can grab one while I still can...

I might just go ahead and buy a Marvel key though too. Not sure.

Every year I get something comic-related for Christmas. Typically, I end up picking the items out ahead of time, so it's no surprise--but that doesn't lessen the fun of it! Let's see...

-Three years ago, I was just getting back into collecting. So, my wife bought me a nice VF graded set of Batman 426-429 (Death in the Family). My father-in-law is a big signature collector, so gifts from the in-laws are usually signature or art related. I ended getting some Jim Lee, Christ Claremont, and Matt Wagner signed books.

-Two years ago, my wife purchased my copies of ASM 2, 4, 7, & 22. My in-laws picked up two things for me--a framed and signed portrait of Stan Lee and a great looking piece of Spider-Man OA by Ron Frenz.

-Last year was a big year: my wife, in-laws, and her grandfather all pitched in to help pay for half the cost of my Amazing Fantasy 15. :cloud9:

-This year, my in-laws are giving me my CGC 9.8 Action Comics #1 reprint signed by Jerry Siegel. This is a major coupe for my signature collection to say the least. Other than that, however, I don't think there will be any other comic-related gifts this year.

Surprisingly, no comics or related items this year. My wife and I just took on two foster kids from a pretty bad home and this will be their first real Christmas, so we're focusing on them.

My wife was going to buy me a TOS 39 a few years ago to surprise me, but I told her to wiat until I found a copy I wanted.

Thanks! We don't have kids of our own and have had them (a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy, brother and sister) for just two weeks now. It was a shock at first, as I'm used to sending my niece and nephew home when I've had enough. lol But thing s are going well and getting into a good routine.
