Wow! A new addition to the want-list!

On a very unrelated topic, I just scored a ragged copy of Action #276, and was surprised to find not just Supergirl joining the Legion, but SIX 1st appearances in there.

Picked this up at the Long Beach Con on Friday. Very hard book to find. Obviously the diagonal crease is a turnoff, but the colors on the book are very vibrant and sharp and the book has full cover gloss. Couldn't pass it up due to the fair price Probably a 3.5 or 4.0 with the sharp colors. First Bat-Mite. Perhaps one day, I'll upgrage, but until then. . . . . Oh, nice OW/W pages, too!

Fun book Steve.

Put this cover next to that brooding issue of Detective with the Batman shaped like a Castle to see what can happen to a company or character in twenty short years!

Having said that, the Batmite is kind of cool in a very goofy sort of way. And if you want the ultimate, grab those issues of World's Finest where Batmite and Mr. Mxyzptlk (sp) team up to aggravate our favorite heroes.

Is it any wonder Stan Lee saw an opportunity!!

As I explanied in another thread:

When I was 10 years old in 1973, I bought this one off a neighbor kid for the whopping sum of $1. As I recall, I really thought I made a killing because my OPG has it at like $1.50 or $2.

Soon after, the kids' mom called my mom, and I had to sell it back because it belonged to his big brother, who I think was busy in SE Asia if you know what I mean.

Last week I got this replacement off that big four letter auction site. It's actually in much better shape than the one I had to sell back.
