Here is my last acquisition of 2023: Justice League of America #5 CGC 5.5 from an IG seller.

New arrivals today! All staying in my PC except for the 9.2 Solar 20 which I'm gonna put on Ebay. Slowly but surely filling in all the gaps! These were all raw that I sent out for grading except the Solar #7 which was a CBCS 9.0...pressed and cleaned and bumped it up to CGC 9.4.

Also have a Magnus 44,46, and Solar 30 I should be getting back next week or two.

Dipping my toes into the Silver Age with this purchase.  I had kept my eye on an ASM #40 CGC 6.5 White Pages at my LCS but searched around on eBay first and found a cheaper copy.  The eBay copy had an OBO option so I threw out an exploratory offer that was $150 below what they were asking and to my surprise they accepted. Very happy to this to my collection.

Sold my CGC 7.0 and bought this one over the weekend for a slight bump.  Still looking for the 9.0+ but this will do for now.

 Mine is a beater too, story in spoiler, but super glad after a day of searching and coming up empty that I didn't give up  and just to come away with something Praise God. It was the 1st day in a while for the sun to shine and not be 0 degrees wind chill

I didn't assess it in store, for $2 I just took it home. It's detached at top staple and has some significant tears, but am truly grateful!

It was at an antiques store, and after 2 stores before that of nothing and this last store everything was priced but this.... I almost gave up!

A friend had suggested I go today, so I thought Lord willing I'll try for the goodwill of just to leave no stone unturned kind of thing...

Anyway  they had to call the guy for price and I helped explain what looked like water damage on the cover....

Sure enough $2
