I certainly agree that it's justified any time you can bring a rare book like that back from the brink of degradation. It looks excellent!!!

Tracy is charging $85 CDN/hr and he appears to be worth every penny!!

It never ceases to amaze me how much a book can be improved with pro restoration. That book looks amazing after 20 hours of work.

 

Is there any way you can provide a scan of the inside front cover? If that's asking too much I'll of course understand... not sure I'd want to risk a crease for the sake of a scan...

The book is secured in a Fortress and I do not want to open the cover more than 45 degrees. Sorry!
