Bronty
Been looking for a NM Great Garloo forever.Someday. Hopefully you find one under the tree this Xmas! BTW, I talked to Santa Claus at the Hudson's Bay store downtown yesterday and I asked him what happened to all the little elves in the short red skirts that he used to have with him every year: He said Mrs. Claus' bitter recriminations put an end to the elves. Very sad. I wonder if Mrs. Claus would object to green-skirted elves though?
mintcollector
Been looking for a NM Great Garloo forever.Someday. Me too! Morphy Auctions had one in excellent condition, but I passed because it wasn't near mint (my forum name says it all).

followtheleader
That's both genius and awesome. But a VERY expensive prop in the 80s. The average cost in 1985 was $110. About $250 today. Plus, they are so huge that I can't imagine stores ordered a ton of them. I'm guessing this was in a bigger city/suburb? On a side note, I now have doubles of a lot of the small parts for the Flagg. I intended to build it piece by piece and started with the harder items. Due to the size, no way am I getting another one. Patrick

Davenport
A Christmas time shout out to the greatest toy in the history of all toys ever. The Monkey Helmet. Would've wore it to school if they'd have let me. It was meant to be military, but if you put it on it was instant Spaceman Spiff mode. Imagination the only limit. Plus all the super cool Remco Monkey Division guns. Best. Toys. Ever.
