A few days before Doug Schmell was both disbarred for ripping off elderly clients and caught trying to sneak a known Jason Ewert book past CGC, Brad had proposed him for some sort of new Good Guy award because of his spotless record. Rather than back down after these new sets of facts emerged, he went on the warpath against any and all that dared disagreed with him. how he escaped being banned then escapes me. There was a second similar case, and then the attempted fraud against a forumite plus whatever it was that got him banned in the end.

How many second chances does one man deserve?

 

Agreed. Shame really, because Brad can (and has) contribute as much worthwhile information to the Boards as anyone I can think of.

 

But we are here because we agree to abide by the rules of this place...if we can't play nice with the other kids, we get sent home. End of story.

Being realistic, Greggy will eventually be banned. Most people who have two strikes will likely get a third one day. Time should play a factor as well.

 

Isn't it three strikes in a year = ban?

Pretty well unless you do something really really bad.

 

Or anything at the discretion of the mods.

Banning someone from the forums is ridiculous. Unless you are someone like Alleybat or Capfreak, you probably dont deserve it. To actually get banned should be decided with a bit more thought then just 3 strikes. Offenses should be a key role.

 

So you never got to meet Miamicomics then, I see. :eek:

All he'd have to do is post a huge amount of CGC books the next time he came back from a strike vacation to show CGC the money they won't get in the future. All's forgiven then.

If you are in need to something to crusade for, I'd think this would be pretty low on the priority scale.

If, on the other hand, you are simply trying to stir up bad feelings and best forgotten moments, go for it.

There was a second similar case, and then the attempted fraud against a forumite plus whatever it was that got him banned in the end.

How many second chances does one man deserve?

There's some irony in this post that I'm going to let others discover for themselves. But here's a hint: It has to do with the fact that one of the people mentioned in bold is banned and the other is an advertiser who's still here.
