Scarcest Centaurs?

The early Gustavson Arrow work is not as finely drawn as are his later efforts, but I really enjoy the raw power of his draftsmanship:

Great books Steve, (thumbs u one of my favortie FP covers. Not that anybody cares, but the Church copy is a straight up 9.4 Blue, and sold recently on CC, for an "only" astounding 1.5X (ish) times guide!

I care very much. (thumbs u

Love this book. Wish I had bid higher on the one that went through Heritage recently.

Gator got the only other FP 41 I've seen (that was back in 2008).

A Boardie picked up the Pinnacle Hill FP 40.

40 & 41 seem to be equally tough.
:shy:

I got Gator's sloppy seconds on this book and I like it! Although it kind of looks sickly compared to Steve's copy...

Census is pretty low on these 3 Centaurs.

This book is listed as Rare, but my experience says Scarce instead (still one of my Top 10 favorite Centaurs):

A Boardie now owns the copy on the right...

If anybody cares, my research shows the highest graded copy is a VF non ped, and I have verified the Church copy is "only" a FN, with slight dab glue on spine,

2c

Well then, gaze upon my Larson copy which I grade as a VF+

3.10

An interesting Arrow cover because it's by Carl Burgos.

I was just discussing the earliest Arrow stories with another collector - did Gustavson have an 'assist' from Burgos?

Anyway, FP 3/10 is one of the Scarcest Centaurs IMHO:

Did you get this cleaned Jon?

Scan looks better than when you got it from me. :)

No I did not. Its been twenty years since I had a book cleaned. The scanner does have ways of "lightening up" certain colors. It is a nice book. Jon
