I love the over-sized books!!!!

They are extremely tough in higher-grades... :(

I know you like high-grade, white-page books...that will be difficult. hm

But not impossible...

I believe I have posted it before but it is RHG's former copy that he let go in a moment of extreme generosity.

I never had a problem finding a 1 or 2, but 3 has always been tough. I had one at one point, VG-ish IIRC.
I got lucky and picked up my 3 off ebay on the cheap...the 2 I got in a heritage auction, and the 1, well, pretty "common" as some have mentioned...

I thought it might be RHG's old copy. hm

I remember that his copy was the finest Star Ranger #1 I ever saw... :cloud9:

The "Windy City" copy is a decent copy too (I think Rick had that one)...but this copy so far is the nicest one I can think of....Congrats on stealing it away!!!! lol

Here is my #3 I have actually seen more #2's than #1

Arrow3001.jpg

cool...you seeing more 2's than 1's is anomolous...I Think the average collector of centaurs has seen more 1's than 2's by a wide margin, in my collecting and discussion experience ...

Nice book..Bo Hogg....thanks for sharing this.. (thumbs u

Really... (shrug)

I haven't seen more #2's than #1's. I haven't seen any new #2's on the market in a couple of years.. the last one I saw was Gator's CGC 5.5 copy which he sold to Parker and then Parker sold it to another Boardie...that's the last one I have seen anywhere.

Gator and Blind owl, it was really strange but about 8 years ago, I was seeing Arrow 2 for sale on the internet like every 3 weeks. I am not joking!!! Then I stopped seeing them on a regular basis, maybe like once ever 2 years. I have only seen maybe 5 Arrow 1 and I have only seen one other Arrow 3 for sale.

there is no doubt that book offerings are cyclical... I wonder how many diffferent copies of #2 it was on ebay, or if it was the same copies being offfered and reoffered?... reason I ask is that 1) there are not "that " many centaur collectors 2) it is fairly well established that issue 1 exists (at least over the past 6 years I have tracked) or comes to sale at a rate of 5 to 1 over #2...heck, perfect example, there are 5 copies on metro's site right now, and not a single 2 (only 1 #3, the MH copy)...and I bet I have seen 3 copies of 2, to every 1 of 3 I have seen offered...so, maybe a 10 to 3 to 1 ratio (shrug)

just makes one wonder where they are all hm
