Nice solid book, cover detached and 90% split but nice paper....

Why couldn't it have been a Detective 27 instead, same month and all.

On a side note does anyone know if they share the same back cover?

James G

The back cover is the same, but I can't vouch for the inside back cover.

If memory serves, and Action 12 was used as the donor copy for a back cover married to a Tec 27 I previously owned. Perfect match inside and out.

don't think so...if we are talking about the same book, the tec 27 back cover was from a copy of tec 27

pretty sure the back cover of action 12 (don't recall if interior or exterior) has some minor ad difference, but I would have to ask haspel to confirm

This one has it all: pieces reattached, tear seals, cleaned, reinforced, trimmed... well at least the restorer didn't color touch it and really hurt the value. :insane:

and there're still people that would give at least one testicle for it. great book!

You are probably right about the donor copy, but the Action 12 back cover is identical to Tec 27

I would sure like to own an Action #12

Me too, Mike. I kick myself sometimes... an affordable one has come up (very) occasionally in past years but the timing just wasn't there. :(
