oh well, I really screwed up on the bottom 3. Started out strong with 12 out 15 possible wins in the first five to go 12/0. Then 3/7 in the next five. 3 bulleyes for 1 bonus point.

 

I think a little confusion with the order of the TOS and IM took me off my game as I had to correct the allocation of some grades that had been allocated out of order. At least that's the excuse I'm using.

 

Total of 16/7

 

I hope that's good enough to seed me in the middle of the bracket, wouldn't want to face a first seed early on.

I am finalizing the scoring and will have the rankings posted soon. :acclaim: Special Kudos to Sckao for his assistance in working out a scoring anomally on the spreadsheet…it was driving me crazy. :frustrated: (:gossip: something about microsoft thinking 9 - 8 = .9999 :insane: )

 

I have checked to make sure grades are recorded correctly for the Thor/ Tales of Suspense order mix up on the listings.

 

Also, remember these are rankings, not standings. There is a subjective component as winning percentage is used as a basis, but a large number of wins may bump you up in the rankings.

 

The good news is, everyone is moving on and playing. There are 72 teams, so we will have a mini tourney among the 12 best of the bottom of the rankings to determine four champions who will move on to the tourney as the 32cd ranked teams. :whee:

Looks like I did a bit better than I hoped. 17-6 if I did my math correctly...

 

What was the deal with the MP #23? I thought it looked quite nice except for the excessive distributor ink overspray. However, I also thought overspray wasn't considered a detractor in CGC grading...

 

 

There's a thumbprint/smudge on the BC I spotted. I still way overgraded and took a loss on that one.

 

17-4 for me.. I think. Maybe. Glad there are no points deducted for math!

 

A last minute 2nd guessing of one grade cost me a 4th bullseye and left me 5 fewer points.
