Personally, I prefer the Kaluta covers from this time period but I have to admit that's a very nice book.

This one IMMEDIATELY grabbed me because of the dramatic pose and rich red colors on this cover when it was on the stands. Kubert's diversity across genres continues to amaze me to this day.

Yes, I certainly find the colors on that book attractive, the bright reds and oranges certainly add to the impact on some of these books. I picked up HoM 265 (i think) a while back and it has the spider and man grappling over a nice orange background. Love it.

Is that a Dominguez cover. If so, that's got to be the first one that I've seen that I actually like.

Dominguez has hit or miss covers, but I personally like most of it. :thumbsup:

 

After seeing some of his art in some of the Gold Key issues I much prefer his cover art to his story art.
