All good things come in threes...

Here are three of my favorites from Super Comics.

Probably only Honky Cat will appreciate them.

I like them, too.

I collect all the GA reprint titles.

I need all three of those :foryou:

Great cover by Swayze! :applause:

I think Marc Swayze would loved to have drawn more Mary Marvel covers but I think that Jack Binder loved drawing her as well and since he ran the studio he usually got dibs.

One of the unloved titles I've been collecting. My internet went out 8 minutes before Heritage's last auction so I missed out on a few early ones.

And yes, I am the poster formerly known as Diego Grande.

Hulk head hurt from recent name changes! :pullhair:

This gets my vote: we both have incredibly good taste in comics

Dude, this cracked me up. It's funny that Mr. Parker changed his around the same time.

I'm back in Minnesota next week and then the posting of books will recommence!

I don't remember the last time I saw a copy of MIS 55 that was that nice. Beautiful books, sir! :applause:

i do...never!

I read the story from that issue in the Showcase Presents volume a few nights ago. I can't read the name "Alanna" now without thinking about these boards...

Alanna has some really nice books also. Adamstrange seems to have every book I've been chasing for many years, only in incredible condition and freshness. I've owned several MIS 55s over the years but have never found one like that. I feel like I need to shake up my collecting interests so that I'm not following in his footsteps.

Either that, or we both have incredibly good taste in comics. lol

if Alan had not already used the name adamstrange, I'd've gone for it myself. In the interests of maximum confusion I suggest he and I switch names with each other on a regular basis.

The Phantom Witch Doctor is a recent addition to the group (thanks Skypink) but these three covers are linked in my mind. Kinstler, Fawcette and Orlando/Wood did the covers and the results are enhanced by the color choices. These are excellant examples of the great comics produced by Avon.
