Here's one healthy price escalation I felt was deserved:

F.F. 31-40...up from $140 in NM last year to $250 this year. While I would still take issue with the grouping (as issues like # 31, 36, & 39 demand premiums over more common books like # 33 & 35), I think its a realistic price escalation...of nearly 80%.

The listings for 35 cent Marvel variants are incredibly underpriced. All of them! They list at only a few dollars more than the 30 cent variants, and good luck getting any for $8-$10 in ANY condition!

Perhaps Overstreet feels this is a passing trend, but I was stunned that the book wouldn't reflect the current climate for these puppies and boot the value up more...

I am still looking through some of the guides prices and one thing has jumped out as quite the surprise....Dark Horse Presents issues. Specifically the Byrne Next Men issues. In the guide they list at $5 apiece. I was all aflutter about this because I love the Next Men story line, so I went to the Mile High site. Imagine my surprise when I saw #54 (the first Next Men issue) listed at $40!! 893whatthe.gif

I cant believe there is that big a difference between the Guide and the Seller!! confused-smiley-013.gif

I guess the OS advisors are still looking to complete their sets. 27_laughing.gif

Start believing. And check out other websites for more realistic pricing. And better grading, natch.

You should see her feature at www.jj1club.com

Along with Penny Flame's, it's the only reason I paid the fee to check out the site.

Is the $250 for 9.2?

I thought they didn't have 9.4 pricing anymore.

Also, I won't be able to get a my copy till Saturday so can you give me just a few amounts so I can calculate how they are computing 9.2.

How about:

FF #1 in 8.0,9.0 & 9.2

FF#40 in 8.0,9.0 & 9.2

FF#53 in in 8.0,9.0 & 9.2

and nope, I don't own FF #1.

Thanks in advanced.
