I've learned a valuable lesson today.

Never buy something on a whim on the boards. Why? Because then someone else might want it. And if someone else wants it you might go out of your way to be nice and make that person happy. And then, by trying to make that person happy you might accidentally make someone else sad. And then you have to pay extra money to make the sad person happy while also having to pay some more money to cover any slips-of-the-tongue which got you in trouble when you realized that your good deed got you punished. And by the end of the ordeal you will be broke, friendless, and out the object of your whimsy purchase. That, my friends, is a helluva bad day. Congrats Bill and thanks for the lesson (thumbs u

Stay gold, Ponyboy.

You know what the funniest thing you ever said to me was?

When I was commenting on Mila Jovovich, Kiera Knightly and Kate Beckinsale....

:roflmao:

Must have been about super hot ladies with small racks.

Richard, my day has been filled with blessings. All you've seen of it has been this thread; which, I'd like to believe has also been blessings filled.

I would venture a bet that at least one poster in this thread was indeed friendless prior to this event and such condition could not be blamed on thread repercussions.

I don't know about you... but I think these are awesome. They were part of the School System's Paperback Book Clubs in the late 70's. (Xerox Education Publications)
