Actually, wasn't there all sorts of drama regarding star ratings back in the day?

Didn't people argue over the ratings their threads got or something like that?

 

Kind of like a popularity contest at the prom...only every day?

Everybody started with 5 stars, after about 20 minutes on the boards, most were down to four.

Man, if they had star-ratings per user today, I'm sure the carnage would take out the entire inter-web.

After the personal stars, the THREAD-stars were left, these lasted a little longer...just a little.

 

God all of a sudden, I feel old...almost 10 years of my life on here
