He must have been feeling generous because he was willing to pay cover price for the book. I said sure, refunded the money to close the case, and sure enough positive feedback left like nothing happened. He followed the same set of actions with another boardie I talked to.

 

It's probably in your best interest to block him, if you want to avoid the headache.

Since then no one seems to care but with the recent rumor that the J.A.R.V.I.S. ai will become Ultron in Avengers 2, shouldn't this book explode?

If anyone has cared to look, Avengers 55 is selling for huge money overnight on Ebay ( first appearance Ultron ) But if that Ultron is not going to be utilized in the film I would expect the first appearance of the J.A.R.V.I.S. intelligence to significantly climb in value. This first appearance is also in a regular Marvel Universe comic not a Marvel Films adaptation. What do you all think?

Nobody is making you blacklist that particular ebay user. But when that user has demonstrated an inability to follow terms outlined by ebay (buyer pays return shipping) then why deal with the potential headache? You want to roll the dice with an ebay user whose practices have been deemed shady by another forum user then go ahead.

Just a simple heads up. I originally threw it out there to see if anyone had dealt with this person before. Turns out some have. I wouldn't have advised blocking him if I was the only one who experienced this issue.

 

Feel free to sell to him if you'd like. I'll point him in your direction in my follow-up message to him.

I hate eBay, and their willingness to continually bend sellers over a barrel. I am desperately looking for some long-overdue competition in this market.

 

I'm convinced we need an Ebay Sit vendit cavete (Let the Seller Beware) thread. Since it's voluntary to participate and it hurts noone except the villainous scum that perpetrate all sorts of badness on Ebay....I'm creating one. See you all there, hope you come with all your Ebay dirty laundry to post. :)

I just don't think it's possible to compete with a global market like Ebay.
