Fun facts:

Supposedly 2.5 million 3D covers were made.

52 different covers.

Average of 48,000 of each cover (straight numbers).

We know that this is not the the actual breakdown of each title.

Supposedly some titles got nearly 100% filled, others only 50% (so range is between 50 and 100 percent of orders for each title).

In real terms, so if Batman gets closer to 100,000 issues (near 100%), this shifts +48,000 from another title/titles, so maybe Aquaman and Flash only get 25,000 each.

Wondering what the actuall numbers will be.

Also, if ChomiCrohn will give the breakdown of 2D and 3D covers.

I would think they would give separate counts on 2 and 3d but I don't think it will matter as much as normal. I know a lot of mainly Marvel and Image buyers who bought all of these they could get and I believe the demand was extremely high for these overall and for the Joker's daughter and Harley Quinn in particular . I would bet that there will be bigger demand for these than almost any other New 52 book. 2c

there are lots of extra 3Ds at my local shop for cover price for some titles -- all the "hot" ones are gone or priced above cover and waiting to be sold...all the joker, harley, lobo covers are long gone

2.5 million is actually quite a lot. DC usually only does sales of around 1.9 million total copies of its new 52 line any given month. I would guess that DC printed more than usual of its lesser selling titles for people that wanted to collect sets.

I read sex Criminals #1 three months ago.

IT was amazing. Totally different than what I expected.

It has since sold out at Diamond and is going for a second print.

Take from that what you will.

Too many variants. Cant think of any recent book doing well with over 3 covers...can anyone else?

It will be a lot higher now lol

I would have bid on it, but the 3Ds are killing my comic budget.

Seems to be a common thread among all of us. Oh well, I've been buying and selling comics for a long time now and probably only a century or two from getting rich doing it. Thank goodness for modern medicine.

That went cheap for an SS Stan Lee auto or at least the ones I've seen sold.
