Why do we have a copper age board?

Isn't 1992 the start of the modern age?

No

I agree. Ebay on the other hand calls 1992 and newer the modern age so its us against them lol

I think all of the books written prior to 2001 looked at the future a little more brightly and lightly than since then.

good luck trying to find Action Comics #683 for cheap right now too, its dried up everywhere and it has a lower print run and earlier appearance of Doomsday's hand thatn MOS #17

That was the third Doomsday hand by their numbering. Man of Steel 17 was the first time storywise that Doomsday hand appeared.

That would be false (tsk)

And to back that up:

Doomsday Chronology

Superman: The Man of Steel #17 (November 1992): [41] "Here Be Monsters"

Superman Vol. 2 #73 (November 1992): [42] "Time Ryders"

Adventures of Superman #496 (November 1992): [43] "Truth and Consequences"

Action Comics #683 (November 1992): [44] "The Trail of the Jackal"

Superman: The Man of Steel #18 (December 1992): [45] "Doomsday! Part One"

Justice League America #69 (December 1992): "Down for the Count"

Superman Vol. 2 #74 (December 1992): [46] "Countdown to Doomsday!"

Adventures of Superman #497 (December 1992): [47] "Under Fire"

Action Comics #684 (December 1992): [48] "...Doomsday Is Near!"

Superman: The Man of Steel #19 (January 1993): [1] "Doomsday Is Here!"

Superman Vol. 2 #75 (January 1993): [2] "Doomsday!"

Justice League America #70 (January 1993): "Grieving"

Adventures of Superman #498 (January 1993): [3] "Funeral For A Friend Part 1: Death of a Legend"

I loved when DC used to have the subset numbering. I wish DC and Marvel would do that today instead of the constant do overs.

So what moderns within the last 1-2 months of release are heating up? Nothing ?

Black Science Hastings Variant is selling really well for me at double the cost.

I have been selling quite a few Black Science 2, ranging from double to triple the price. My last sale on Ebay was today, for $20 for Cover A and B.

I've bought quite a few of these. If anyone buys them, DO NOT pay $4.99. It comes up that way on their computer, but right on the front cover $3.50 is printed. I make them sell it to me for $3.50 every time.

I've got a couple out there as well ending on Saturday - we'll see how they go.
