Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

My buddy from college and I have a running joke whenever I talk about comics. He isn't a fan, but had a run of Sleepwalker 1-10 for some reason. He always asks if they are worth anything yet (because they have been sub-25 cent bin fodder for decades) and we always laugh. I sent him the news.

It's time for me to liquidate my collection. The writing is on the wall, the end is nigh. Irrational exuberance is here!

(I'm kidding but not really).

There were two versions, the fun pack and the family pack. The link you gave me only has the digital comic not the actual comic. I have been unable to find the one containing the comic but if you have a link for that I thank you in advance.

I don't know how it is anywhere else but I am selling a ton of the N52 Batman #1 WB Studio Tour variants on my site. I've sold over 20 in the past 2 weeks at 50 a pop. They are all over the place on eBay...in the 25-75 range.

Anyone have an idea what the print run on that book was?

It was selling for $100 when it came out. In fact, just to get one I think you had to pay a $75 entrance fee or something ridiculous.

I don't recall the print run but it's very low compared to what they do monthly. Like a quarter or less. It has floated around on the web.

This should be heating up in about one hour:

detail.jpg

It's the unannounced lead in to Secret Wars & the END of the current Marvel Universe setting up Sleepwalker in a Psycho Pirate type roll.

Good call. These kind of issues always catch fire.

I saw 3 different covers at the LCS today

Mmmmm...I wouldn't be so quick to pass judgement: The prices are all over the place for sure, but I've sold two copies of this book in the $40-$50 a few months apart. It definitely comes down to how bad the interested party wants it, and not necessarily overwhelming market demand.

Regardless, I bought multiples when it came out because I loved the humor and style, and wanted to support them.

This really is an ugly cover with terrible composition.

*SHRUG*

Who cares?

Not me.

I'm making a spec play is all...

Maybe I'll go out of business.

Clearly I care - seemed to go without saying?

Though I know looking like crud doesn't preclude people from buying it...
