So going through some of my boxes that i havent been through yet and I find an ASM 648 sketch cover in 9.8, so I do a quick look on eBay and can only find like 3 for sale...... Can someone tell me why this is so expensive?

Never sell anything. Ever. Problem solved.

Compulsive_Hoarding-1.jpg

Then hoarding takes over.

Nice ceiling fan.

Ugghh. Can't stand when people keep action figures in the packages, and THEN display them. Either take them out and display them, or keep them in storage if you're going to sell them.

All I see is a bunch of toys that sell for less now than the day they came out.

Those Vader figure cases have to be worth money if they are original.

Seller is dreaming at that price but being the only one currently on ebay who knows what someone with more money than brains will pay.

Looks to be like most 9.8 sketch covers (assuming it was a 1:200 or similar) yellow at 400, blue at 250 with best offer accepted.

Wal Rus in the GOTG film will only add to the cost of this book...

In regards to Nova #8

I had read this regarding a James Gunn tweet awhile ago, don't obviously confirm anything just interesting and very likely possibility being they are going for numerous comedic elements.

A little over $80 seems low.

Agreed.

The problem with this title is that it's not scarce at all. Copies are ALWAYS hitting eBay in force. So perhaps it's an over-saturation problem? Or maybe it was just a bad day to end an auction. So hard to know.

Harley Quinn Alex Ross has been making me a decent amount of money. I found about 10 of them last con I was at about a month ago. $8 a piece. I've been doing BIN for $40+ depending on condition.

A lcs has pp #1 for $200 and in nm shape.

If it looks 9.8 worthy, I'd grab it and slab it.

It does, but I have thought that about a couple of books that returned lower than i thought they would.

I still might buy it though.

I was thinking the same lol even if its a 9.6 should still pull out a bit of monies, 9.4 would likely lose grading fees.
