I had 67 Sensation Comics Mile Highs. The current owner sold all the issues above #40, but #2-40 are mostly intact.

 

I had many other MH runs, 31 Action Comics, 17 All Flash's, 22 More Fun's 15 Boy Commandos, etc, etc... they have all been dispersed.

 

Last count I own 19 More Funs and 3 more in my possession that are not mine (yet). RHG has some. I know Metro has a few for sale. I think we can account for the vast majority, at least by way of sales.

If I remember Mark W. had most of the More Funs which he sold as a group to a "collector" who unloaded them within three years because "they did not increase in value fast enough...."

I remember when they were for sale in CBG.

Geppi had the Superman #4 and sold it when he found a better copy back in the early 1990's.

John Verzyl told me the 1st Mile High he ever saw was Superman #12. He said the cover was BONE white!

Sparkle City Comics had many Superman MH's for sale in an ad in the 80's, from #11 up to #68, 24 issues in total.

Very few authentic MH Superman's have been on the market since the 80's.

I once set out to put back together the entire run of the Church Wyatt Earps from Dell. Only thing is, the entire run is only 13 issues. Plus, there's no definitive proof that they ever existed in a complete run. They're late in time. I have a grand total of 1 book. 4 came up for auction at Heritage several years ago and I'm pretty sure I know who has them.

 

As it is, I've pretty much given up on the idea.

Burrel sold the MH Planet run, and a majority of the ECs (all titles) to Geppi in the early 80s. I believe Fishler has the Planets now. I do not recall ever seeing any major offering of ECs anywhere over the years, though there have been a few misc. individual issues available here and there. I remember the Hit run through #25 was intact. I thought a boardie had those.

I have Ernie Gerber's Mile High for sale list which had many, many MH runs for sale.

 

I've seen that. 143ksk has a copy he likes to pull out once in a while and going :doh: re: the MLJ books and prices on that list.
