354 posts in this topic

I don't know about you guys but I can't wait to get my pallet of Walking Dead #100s delivered to me in July. I am gonna be able to have one heck of a bon fire with the amount I am getting. :)

And here I was looking forward to 99 being the last issue I buy. It's hardcovers only after that.

I can't wait until July so I can take some pictures of the new fort I have planned.

It is gonna be made out of all the #100s in route, and will be decorated in the sweet Chromium covers. For windows I will use the 1:200 variants. :)

you should destroy all your copies and single handedly turn walking dead #100 into the rarest issue of them all. minus your copies, only 5,985.

Anyone see/notice this WD 100 DF Adlard Sig:

If I was to sub this book, I'm assuming it'd be a green label?

Yes, but you get a nice shiny sheet of paper from midtown authenticating it. So you know it's real. :wishluck:

They may not be anything that we want...but...people are out there that buy them and prefer a copy that is signed and that they can still read...even if the signature wasn't done in front of them...

COAs are like money magnets...

Both of my examples are of recent $2.99 books (that were limited to 1 per person through the Midtown website)

Saga #1

X-O Manowar #1

I don't know this company but someone still paid $92 for COA and a 'signature'...

hey u guys gonna get the signed or the chromium.. think i'll go two of each..

I preordered every issue off Midtown before I signed up with my LCS so I'll end up with 2 copies of each. I also preordered the signed one. I don't collect signed issues but I figure I could sell it on Ebay like the Saga #1 signed. For $15, it'll resell easy i'm sure.
