Do you think the label of SPIRIT #18 will list, "origin retold"?

They usually will list an origin story but not always a retelling, I think Fortunaltely it mentions the Spirit origin on the cover.

Scanner works great...now it's just a matter of getting

the scans onto this site.

Most people use photobucket for posting scans. I use Flickr which I have used to store over a 1,000 scans.

At the bottom of this reply you can pick reply and enter an image by copy paste from properties of images stores on photobucket or Flickr.

You can probably use one of my post to run through that. Click on a figure, look at properties and copy the URL address.

Pick the thiird icon which says "enter an image" and paste in your photo address.

Then say OK.

your photo address

Address should be between images in brackets.

Click on post at the bottom of page or preview. You can always edit at the preview stage or edit after posts for a few weeks, I think.

CGC didn't note origin retold on the Church copy (HA) and it's not in OSPG. I suspect cover text would be enough for Spirit collectors, like me.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing your collecting history, and making the extra effort to purchase a scanner to share your collection with us. Like others, I'm really looking forward to hearing about and seeing OO books still owned by the OO! :applause:

This is one of my early favorites that I plan to have graded. 8398714811_f2467085f3.jpg

I like Captain Marvel but you can find a lot of his books out on the market. Prices tend to be low and only the earliest books would be worth grading and sealing up. Spending your grading money on an Adventure, More Fun or Marvel Mystery would be better.

I have that cover but no scan. I think it is a good book for grading. You can ensure maximum price or value with a little effort from CGC. Unless there is something wrong with it. I saw two copies of a book that was graded which had coupons missing. Obviously this was going to affect the grade. Green labels obtained for both.
