Just sent in my promotional comic "PETER PENNY AND HIS MAGIC DOLLAR"

for grading. I found it a little while back, tucked away in the center of SENSATION

COMICS #68. I remember picking it up from a bank in Augusta, GA in 1947...but

forgot about it for years.

Along the way I picked up a few LI'L ABNER's.

While going through my box of coverless comics, I came across a

CLUE COMICS from February 1947 and it made me remember what

a wide variety of characters there were in the comic books of those

days. Here's just the 5 splashes from that book.

The Peter Penny issue is really cool, Marty! I believe SOTIcollector mentioned that was a tough one to track down.

I'm looking forward to how my PETER PENNY is labeled as it doesn't match the two (2)

versions listed in Overstreet.

Your copy has the brighter covers which would seem to be the intended color highlights.
