Just wanted to say that even though I don't follow GA I enjoyed reading this thread and seeing your collection. You have some really nice books and the fact that you purchased them yourself makes them even more interesting. Thanks for sharing (books and stories).

Thanks Mike...I appreciate your kind words and as I've said before, I truly enjoy

sharing my books...little did I know 70+ years ago, sitting on the fire escape outside

my third floor bedroom window, reading my latest acquisition, that I would be sending

pictures of my comic books through the air.

BLACKSTONE The Magician was another Radio favorite of mine.

Right next to BLACKSTONE on the UNION NEWS NEWSSTAND you could

find the all time Radio favorite...THE SHADOW.

During the Summer, with no school, I was able to listen to PERRY MASON

on Radio in the afternoon.

 

 

And then on Sunday nights it was time for SAM SPADE.

CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT was a big Radio favorite of mine...even sent away for

a couple of Decoder Badges.

MAGIC DOLLAR.

 

 

Listed as: VARIANT EDITION

Key Comments: American Bankers Association Promotional

Original Edition with extra illustrated panels on cover.

Graded: 6.5 Off-White

 

Now I'll have to see if Overstreet will acknowledge that it exists.
