In going through my books, it appears that this was the first and maybe only

appearance of VOLTAGE...Mighty Man Of Lightning.

Ran across this in a box of my remainder comics. Cover says "First Supernatural

Overstreet agrees with that label. It started in 1948 and was continuously published into the sixties, almost 20 years.

Crypt of Terror wasn't published until 1950.

Eerie (1947) predated Adventures but was a one shot (with art by Bob Fuji by the way).

Avon restarted Eerie in 1951. 8403453154_92b208cc1b_c.jpg

Note the label doesn't appear on the early issues.

With the upcoming Holiday season, had to dig these out and look

at them again.

I have the Batman and the Supersnipe but never won an auction for Action 93. However, I like the cover very much and will keep trying. I like all of the Green Lama covers but saving my coin for issue 6.

My brother and I seldom received comics for Christmas. Those that I have were purchased by one of us and saved. The Christmas Parade Dell giants were all purchased many years later. However, the Gold Key versions were purchased while I was still in high school. Summer time Giant comics seemed to arrive early and usually had games and puzzles to keep us busy and out of trouble. They weren't always successful.

While re-bagging my coverless comics I came across this...

I believe it's a WONDER COMIC #7 with a long ago lost cover.

In reading it I discovered The GRIM REAPER was "...Occupied Europe's Champion

Of Democracy" The story even has him meeting with Marshal Tito in Yugoslavia...

really an interesting concept.
